Best Friends ... these are NECESSARY!

So I am a giant cheese ball! And I'm not even ashamed to admit it!

I love best friends bracelets, I love romcom's on a Saturday night... I love all that kind of cheesy stuff that people find offensive.. I LIVE FOR IT!!!

So for Ellen K's birthday it was NECESSARY to find some kind of "Best Friends" accessory because it is just SO US!

Anywho found these ADORABLE Alex and Ani bracelets ... I have the "Best" and Ellen has the "Friends" and they are my favorite thing EVER!

Ellen is literally a sister to me (but really, we both are Kappa Alpha Theta sisters so like we ACTUALLY are...) 

But now we have our friendship bracelets to make it official :)

#WCW - Marissa Callahan

Today my WCW goes to a woman that is new in my life. We were set up by a mutual friend... And we met and it was instant BFF status!! 

i knew within first 20 minutes of our convo that she was a girls girl!

so encouraging, and such a light!  

Im so lucky we got introduced and are now friends because we were definitely brought together for a reason!

It's okay to have off days

Yes, I try to look for the positive. Yes, I try to look at the bright side.. Yes I try to see the gold instead of focusing on the bad.

but guess what,  I'm human and I have not so great days too...

Everyone has their own mountain in life, whatever that may be... And sometimes you feel like you are a fish swimming upstream against the current.. 

And it's okay to feel deflated at times.  

But I always try to allow myself to feel those things... And then get a good night sleep and then move forward. 

So goodnight my angels... Tomorrow is gonna be a kick ass day!!

My Daily Reminder

I seriously LOVE my devotional...

it's a daily reminder to slow down and focus on what is important.

Well today's message was one thing I REALLY needed to hear...

It was titled "You Don't Need All the Answers to Stop Worrying" and coming from the Queen of worry (myself) this was VERY needed!

Sometime you need to remember that there is a bigger plan in place for you...  worrying isn't going to change the outcome, it's only going to change your current happiness...

So remember! Stop worrying and enjoy your life, it will all work out the way its meant to!

#WCW - Beata Murphy

Today's #WCW goes to one of my bosses.... Beata Murphy!

Beata is kinda a badass in my world..... like when I think of the song "Who run the world.. GIRLS" ... I think of Beata!

I look up to her for so many reasons.. but what I admire most is that she has an amazing job and I love that she encourages the females that work under her!

She shoots it to me straight... if she has an issue with something she takes it up with me personally talks it out and its done. She also is constantly telling me how much she appreciates what I bring to the table.. and she appreciates having me as a representative for our station!

That means THE WORLD TO ME! 

So I wanted to celebrate her .. because one day.. I want to be badass like that! I want to mentor women younger than me.. tell them about my experiences in life, love, and career!

I get to work for some pretty amazing women in my world.. and Beata is certainly one of them!
