Guys I'm having a MAJOR MOMENT with this song by Madison Beer... so I wanted to dedicate my "Lyric of the Day" today to her song "All For Love"!!!

There are couple lyrics in this song I wanted to share because I can just totally relate to them....

I like to think I have a pretty good head on my shoulders.. and that I make pretty smart decisions in life... 

But when it comes to matters of the heart I am just a complete fool... I am a hopeless romantic that is always trying to look on the bright side and can be naive at times....

My friends will always be like "Tanya... what the hell.. why did you do that?!" and my answer is always "ALL FOR LOVE...."

Gotta give it to my girl Demi Lovato for giving me this giant reminder today with her latest sing "Confident."

Look... No one is perfect! We all have things about ourselves we wish we could change.. 

if only my nose were smaller.. If only I were 10 pounds less... I wish I had clear skin... I wish I were taller... I wish I were leaner... I wish I had straight hair... I wish my hair were curly...  

I could go on and on for days! 

ill be the first to admit I am my own worst critic. I find flaws in myself that no one else would even notice.. But I not only find them I let them get the best of me. 

well I've turned a corner in my life and I started owning the insecurities I had. Eff it... Why the hell not?! 

life is way too short to spend any energy wishing you had any other body or life than your own... So embrace is!!! 

And at the end of the day.. There's nothing wrong with feeling #Confident 😜

Today's WCW goes to a girl that I've had the privilege to get to know very well... Ms. Hailee Steinfeld! !! 

i want to always be true to myself on this blog and only spread love for people and artists that I truly love (inside and out). It is extremely hard for me to support an artist that I don't fully believe in, so you can always know that the people / artists I talk about are extraordinary people... Hailee being one of them. 

Hailee doesn't have an ounce of mean on her body. She is so down to earth and doesn't think she is better than anyone around her just cause of what she does. 

she is always saying please and thank you... She's always thanking people... And she's not taking any of it for granted.  

It's been such a pleasure getting to know her over the last year or so and I can say she is like a little sister to me. 

i want to see her win... Because I believe in the good ones being on top!!

Friends that make you smile are EVERYTHING!!!

Honestly... I think my friends are the soulmates in my life...

I am surrounded by some AMAZING AMAZING friends in my life and I am so thankful for them!

Sometimes I think that my friends are my soulmates... and men might just be in my life to have fun with (I say that now because I'm single.. but that will probably change when I meet my true soulmate, let's be honest...)

But I want to share with you all the importance of keeping friends in your life that make you laugh and smile...

I literally spent my ENTIRE day yesterday laughing and smiling and having so much fun... and its entirely due to the company I surround myself with.

In life, we all have enough negative... sometimes you can get stuck in the go go go and forget to enjoy... you need the people you surround yourself with to put a smile on your face!

So cut the bullshit out of your life... if you are holding onto friendships that aren't growing you ... or making you happy... it might be the time to set them free...

I'm serious.. friendship is EVERYTHING! And I think I'm partially the happy person I am because of the people I surround myself with ... 

Bridget Jones' Diary - The Tanya Rad Version

So I've never seen the movie Bridget Jones' Diary up until this weekend ...

(Yes, I know I'm crazy... so don't even get me started)

Anyway... that's not the point here. The point is I had the same epiphany as Bridget Jones did while I was watching this movie...

I got hurt in my past... Really really hurt in my past. To the point where I've been single now for 3 years ... not because I haven't met amazing men.... but because I think deep down I am still so freaking scared and terrified to EVER love and feel loss like that again....

I know we all go through it.. and heartbreak is a part of life... 

But I I so vividly saw my future with someone in it. I saw out home.. I saw my ring... I saw us having children... and when your future comes crashing down in a 24 hour window... It can be pretty traumatizing ... even for the strongest women out there...

So I decided I can't have my walls up anymore... I need to slowly start pulling them down..

And to help keep me on track... My "Tanya Rad Diary" ....

This will help me track my feelings every day.... help me realize how many (or how little) men I'm meeting in my day-to-day...

And just help be a tool for my daily intention and progress...

Most people admit Ellen K for her amazing career... And while I'm not here to discredit that in ANY WAY because it's pretty amazing.... I'm here to shed light on the reason I am in love with Ellen, the person she is!! 

Ellen is SO kind! She's one of the most thoughtful people in my life (if not THE most thoughtful). She's always going out of her way to make sure you are feeling loved and appreciated and I'll never forget how welcoming she was to me on my very first day on the show! 

A lot of women can get territorial. Or even bitchy when new women come into the work place.. But not Ellen! She is so welcoming ... So humble ... And just all around amazing! 

We need more like Ellen in this world, and especially in this industry!!

Right love.. Wrong time

The right love at the wrong time..

why would we be given the right love at the wrong time? You need the right love in addition to the right time...  to make it work!

timing is EVERYTHING and I've learned that so much over the last couple years.. 

I've experience intense feelings... I've experience intense passion.... But it just was not the right time. 

i believe that we receive these slivers of love in our lives to prove that we are capable of finding love in many forms... 

we are able to find many loves in our lives.... And when we find that love at the RIGHT time... Well that will just make all the heart ache worth it!
